WHAT: 

SUMMER BLAST is returning to Arlington Woods! We are hosting TWO special kids nights that include supper, a Bible lesson, music, crafts, games, and a draw for some prizes! These are great opportunities for parents to drop off their kids and enjoy a date night! SUMMER BLAST is for kids who are heading into grades SK-6 this fall (September 2024). We have limited registration for each night so please register early!

On Wednesday, July 31st our theme for SUMMER BLAST is "UNafraid" where kids will be learning about how they can trust that God is with them and can help them when they're scared.

On Wednesday, August 14th our theme for SUMMER BLAST is "BFF" where kids will be learning about how Jesus wants to be their best friend forever.

 WHEN:  

Wednesday, July 31st and Wednesday, August 14th from 5:15-8:15PM. Doors open for kids check-in starting at 5PM. 

 WHERE:  

Arlington Woods Church, 225 McClellan Rd. Nepean

 COST:  

Each Summer Blast night costs $5/kid which includes supper and all of the night's activities. Registration and payment for one or both SUMMER BLAST nights can be made below. There are limited spots, so please register early!

 VOLUNTEERS:  

We are looking for adult and teen volunteers from our church to help us at SUMMER BLAST. Teens can earn volunteer hours for school. All adult volunteers who work with kids/teens need to go through volunteer training and screening through Plan to Protect. Contact Pastor Ben at ben@arlingtonwoods.ca if you would like to serve on one or both of those dates! 

 REGISTRATION:  

 By completing the below information, you are agreeing with the following:

I/we, the parents or guardians named below, authorize Pastor Ben Spears or one of the Arlington Woods Free Methodist Church volunteers to sign a consent for medical treatment or procedures for the participants names below. I/we named below, undertake and agree to idemnify and hold blameless Arlington Woods Free Methodist Church, its pastors, representatives, and Board of Elders from and against any loss, damage, or injury suffered by the participant as a result of being part of the activities of the SUMMER BLAST event, as well as of any medical treatment authorized by the supervising individuals representing the church. This consent and authorization is effective only when participating in the SUMMER BLAST event, an event of Arlington Woods Free Methodist Church.

Please note: All adult volunteers who work with children/teens have been trained and screened to do in our Plan to Protect program.
