On Monday, March 11th, we're having a special all-ages POP where preschoolers and their older siblings are welcome to join us for our drop-in. Aside from all of the usual fun, we will be having a special musical performance from children's entertainer, Yaki!
Parents of Preschoolers (POP) Drop-In:
PARENTS OF PRESCHOOLERS (POP) is a FREE drop-in program for parents, grandparents or guardians and their preschoolers held each Monday from 9:15-11:15am. Each week we average about 60 parents and kids! Most kids first react to our Children's Area in the basement with a "WOW!" as they're treated to a huge room full of interactive toys. There's lots of time for free play, but we also have a gym time, crafts, and music for your little ones. Coffee and tea are served for parents and we provide your children with a snack that is contributed each week by families in our church and community. If you're looking for a play group for your child and would like to connect with other parents, you're going to want to make POP a regular part of your schedule!
How We Work:
POP is a drop-in program where children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. When you arrive, please sign in and include the number of children you have. We need to keep track of the numbers for fire/safety regulations. We also ask that parents complete the free POP registration form each September (or if it's their child's first time joining us). You can complete the form online or fill out a paper copy at POP. Also, when you sign in at POP, please put your child's name and your name (in brackets) on a sticker and place it on his/her back along with a name sticker on yourself so we can get to know you.
We have child changing areas located in our nursery, or you can use the counter in the bathroom. POP is a nursing friendly and peanut free environment.
There is no charge to attend POP, but regular attendees are asked to contribute one of the weekly snacks if they are able to. If you would like to do so, you can sign up for a date at the entrance desk.
