Cliff Fletcher, Lead Pastor

Rev. Dr. Cliff Fletcher pastored 27 years before becoming Bishop of the Free Methodist Church in Canada in 2017. He is returning to his passion of pastoring in 2024 at Arlington Woods Free Methodist Church. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Carleton University, a Masters of Divinity in Marriage & Family Therapy from Tyndale Seminary, and a Doctorate of Ministry in Leadership Development from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.  He is a member of the Ontario College of Psychotherapists, as well as being a Spiritual Director.  Cliff has been married to his best friend, Karlene for over 30 years. They have two children: Abby (married to Josh) and Greg. Cliff loves praying, reading, kayaking, hiking, cross-country skiing, and traveling with Karlene and family. He is still a Habs fan.

Lynda Sinclair, Associate Pastor of Congregational Care

Pastor Lynda has had the privilege of being on staff at Arlington Woods for over 20 years, half of which have been in a pastoral role. She loves people, so leading our pastoral care team is a true joy.  Lynda is married to Merle, her greatest encourager and best friend, and is blessed with a wonderful family that includes 6 amazing grandchildren.  She loves spending her spare time in the great outdoors or curled up with a good book with her cat close by.

Karlene Fletcher, Worship Director/ Children's Director

Karlene is thrilled to be “home” at Arlington Woods as the Worship Director/ Children's Director. She is an enthusiastic, people-loving, adventurous, creative, art-ful, musically-gifted leader. Her love for Jesus is rich and obvious to all. Karlene has her B.A in Music, my B.Ed and her qualifications as an International Baccalaureate Educator.  She was a teacher for 24 years with Music for Young Children, CAIS (Canadian Association of Independent Schools) and the Durham Public School Board and was the Arts Head at Kempenfelt Bay School for my last four years there.  She and her husband Cliff, have been married 30 years and have 2 grown children and a son-in-law. She enjoys kayaking, hiking, tennis, reading, gardening, art, baking and enjoying time with family.

Emily Riley, Office Administrator

Emily loves that she gets to use her organizational skills and creativity hand-in-hand to serve within God’s community.  She is married to her husband Matt and together they have two girls, Clara and Ellie.  In her spare time Emily enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, DIYing and gardening (ask her about winter sowing).
