There’s a NEW small group starting! Angie Nehring will be starting a second women’s small group that will kick off by going through the book of James. 6:30 - 9:00 PM Friday, March 31 - CATALYST YOUTH, (grades 6-12) is meeting in the Creekside Room. Drop in between 6:30-7pm to hang out and play on some of our games tables or challenge a friend to a board game. CATALYST youth then runs from 7-9pm featuring fun games, worship music, a Bible-based talk, and a chance to connect in groups. This week we'll be exploring the connections between Passover and Easter in a talk called "The Great Escape". Email ben@arlingtonwoods.ca for more information.
12:30PM - CHRISTINE ANNE DESGROSEILLIERS CELEBRATION OF LIFE: Christine Anne Desgroseilliers passed away tragically yet peacefully on March 23, 2023, after a car accident. She was surrounded by her family at Kelowna General Hospital and leaves a legacy of compassion and generosity. For more information on her celebration of life click HERE

THE GOD WHO MAKES A WAY: An Entry Like No Other
Palm Sunday: the beginning of Holy week. A crowd gathers with certain ideas and expectations of King Jesus. This Sunday Pastor Grant will speak to how we, like the crowd, sometimes have ideas or beliefs that require deconstruction.
The nursery will NOT be staffed and KIDZONE will be happening.
After the service at 11:30 am, the Easter choir practice will take place in the sanctuary.

1. An Invitation From the FMCIC National Prayer Team The FMCIC senses the Lord is stirring up a spirit of prayer in us and we do not want to neglect this gift. So, you are invited to join us for 12-noon to 12:30 pm, Eastern Time, 6-days -a-week (Monday to Saturday), prayer meetings, until the end of March. 3. Easter Candy Donations We’re looking forward to hosting an Easter Egg Hunt before the Sunday Easter service. We’re looking for Easter candy donations (please ensure they are nut/ peanut free) for the hunt. If you are able to donate please drop off your donations to the church office by Palm Sunday (April 2) at the latest.
4. Easter Flowers Wishing to contribute an Easter flower for the Sanctuary platform in memory of a loved one?
Online donations to request an Easter flower ($25 each) can be made from March 9 – April 5 ONLY https://arlingtonwoods.ca/donate.php.

Your Easter Flower can be picked up from the Sanctuary platform after the Easter Celebration Service on Sunday, April 9, 2023.

Widows Support Group The Widows Support Group provides a place to meet others who have lost their spouse and others who understand your loss, provides support to others who are feeling isolated and alone, and provides an opportunity to meet new friends. For more information, contact Jean Gordon by email or by phone (819-360-3398). The meetings take place on the last Tuesday each month.

1. TACA Clean Up - Trend Arlington Community Association (TACA) is hosting their annual cleanup on April 29, click HERE for more information.
2. Brooke Nicholls - Brooke Nicholls is coming to Kemptville Sunday, May 14 at 7:00PM to celebrate the release of her newest book 'Faithful Then, Faithful Now' with an acoustic night of song and stories. Brooke and her husband will lead worship and some of her own original songs, as well as share testimonies of God’s faithfulness from their lives and stories from the book. You won't want to miss this event on Mother’s Day! Click HERE for more information.
3. Respond Ottawa - Many local agencies (foodbanks, community houses, inner-city missions) are running low on essential items and the number of requests has grown significantly. Click here for a list of food banks in the Ottawa area to contact.
4. FAMSAC Donations - Please bring your food bank donations to the FAMSAC bin in our church lobby. Regular donations are vital to their sustainability.
Most needed items: Peanut Butter, chickpeas, jam, cereal, rice (900g), flour and cooking oil.
