Arlington Woods Community Winter Art Exhibition:
The 17th of January would have been our annual Community Winter Carnival (hosted by our friends at Trend-Arlington Community Association), but due to COVID-19, that has been cancelled this year. While we can't all get together outside for community fun, we wanted to do something that would celebrate community creativity!
We would love for you to submit a picture of some original winter artwork. That could be a drawing, a painting, a snowman, or a snow sculpture! This isn't just for kids or families, but all ages are encouraged to participate!
Artwork should be submitted along with your first and last name and mailing address to karlene@arlingtonwoods.ca no later than Thursday, January 14th.
Your artwork will be exhibited during Arlington Woods Church's livestream service on Sunday, January 17th (the day that the Winter Carnival would have been on). Submitting your pictures will serve as your approval for us to show these on our Youtube livestream.
The service begins at 10am and it's best to join through our Youtube channel. During the livestream we will do a draw for one of four $25 gift cards to local businesses! (While you can submit multiple pieces of artwork, there is only one draw entry and one winner per household. Winners will be contacted afterwards).
