We would love our community to join us over the weekend of October 30-31st as we celebrate the completion of our church building renovation!
FAMILY FUN DAY- SATURDAY, OCTOBER 30TH, 11AM-3PM
Family Fun Day will feature:
- A giant inflatable obstacle course! (FREE!)
- An inflatable slide that's perfect for younger kids (and their parents can slide with them too)! (FREE!)
- An open house where you can take a look at our newly renovated building!
- A petting zoo! You can purchase animal feed cups for $1 each where all funds go to support our building campaign!
- Live music to enjoy inside our building from community members!
- Presentations by several local dance troupes!
- Local art display within our building!
Note: We will post exact times of all the indoor performances on our website and at the event. Performances will be in 20 minute blocks throughout the event.
Covid Safety for Outdoor Activities:
Please wear a mask outdoors when social distancing is not possible. Masks are required for all lineups and to take part in the petting zoo or the inflatable attractions. The slide and obstacle course will have constant traffic flow to ensure distancing while having fun. The petting zoo will have a limited number of kids or families visiting at one time. We will have sanitizer on hand outside.
Covid Safety for Open House (Indoors):
All of those who enter our building on the 30th need to either pre-register (you can pre-register HERE!) or record your name and phone number upon entrance for contact tracing purposes. Everyone joining us indoors must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
We'll have a route for you to travel through our building and explore our renovation and there will be certain rooms showcasing local artwork and talent from our community members. There will be places to sit distanced from others to enjoy the music within our sanctuary. We will also have sanitizer on hand throughout our building.
We have several volunteer opportunities on October 30th to help with setup, cleanup, registration, or our popcorn machine. (Yes, teens can get needed volunteer hours for school). We are also welcoming people of all ages to submit artwork for our art display in our building! If you would be interesting in helping in any of these ways, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
